The process is fast and simple. You can donate your car
online by clicking here. Or you can give the NKF of Middle
Tennessee a call at 800-488-CARS. We will take down the
essential information about your car, and ask you to mail
or bring the required documents to our office.
How
can I get a duplicate title:
An application for a duplicate certificate of title may
be filed through the Title and Registration Division either
in person or by mail. Office hours for this service are
8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. When filing in person, you must furnish
proof of identity, such as a driver license or photo identification
card. If someone other than the owner of the vehicle files,
they must show proof of identification and have a notarized
power of attorney from the owner. If filing by mail, the

my vehicle have to be drivable?

as long as it has all the parts necessary for it to run
(even if it doesn’t), be able to be towed and it has
a clear title.

Vehicles can be picked up as soon as the NKF of Middle Tennessee

(3) organization. Donations made to the Foundation are tax
deductible at the fair market value. NKF of Middle Tennessee
will provide an IRS approved receipt to be kept for verification
with a copy of your itemized tax return.
What
is the fair market value of my vehicle?
NKF of Middle Tennessee does not determine the value of
any of the vehicles they receive, the value is determined
by the donor. If you believe the value of the vehicle being
donated is $5,000 or more you must have it appraised before
donating it. Please speak to a tax advisor or the IRS if
you have any questions regarding this issue. Keep appropriate
backup information for all donations.
What
will you do with my vehicle?
The NKF of Middle Tennessee will send your vehicle to one
of the local vehicle wholesale auctions to be sold under
